Worked as a school teacher and a social pedagogue

Helene was an active Zionist, a teacher and a social pedagogue. Between 1911 and 1924, she worked as a teacher, i.e. for the Jewish community of Berlin. Helene was also an artist and a painter; she studied with Adolf Schmidt and Hermann Struck in Germany and later with Yaakov Steinhardt and Mordechai Ardon.
